THE CAMPAIGN AGAINST HUNGER

nonprofitsoapbox.com/donation

“Every day, The Campaign Against Hunger (TCAH) helps thousands of vulnerable New Yorkers by giving them the food and resources they need to survive. Since 1998 TCAH has been using a community approach to caring and feeding hungry people in Bed-Stuy and neighboring communities.  We off er a continuum of wrap-around services and programs that meet the unique needs of each individual with the goal of setting them free from reliance on New York’s social service safety net.

We now offer hundreds of nutrition education classes, workshops, and cooking demonstrations each year for our clients. The Green Teens internship program has played an integral role in the lives of young adults in Brooklyn and Far Rockaway. And lastly, we now offer a suite of social services, including SNAP registration, health insurance enrollment, tax filing preparation, and much more.”
